Prices

Live prices come from public third-party feeds and can be delayed, briefly unavailable, or differ from your dealer, bank or broker by a few dollars. When a feed drops, the page keeps showing the last good price with its time. Always confirm the price with whoever you are trading with.

Short-term ranges

The 5 to 60 minute high/low ranges are an illustrative formula based on recent price momentum and a keyword read of headlines. They are estimates, not forecasts, and markets can move outside them at any time. See the method page for how they're built.

Pakistan rates

The "international equivalent" figures are a currency conversion of the spot price, not a local shop price. The Sarafa Bazar benchmark is entered manually and may lag the market. Local making charges, premiums and taxes are not included.

US buy-tax estimate

The tax estimator uses general state base rates and simplified bullion exemption rules. It does not include local add-ons and rules change often. Check with your state's revenue department or a tax professional before a purchase.
